Let’s be honest—starting a business? Super brave. But building one that actually works without completely draining your energy? That’s a whole other level of success. In this episode of The Amanda Kaufman Show, we’re diving into how to move from total chaos into clarity—so you can finally build a business you can actually run (and maybe even enjoy doing it).
If your business currently feels like a mess of sticky notes, scattered tools, and late-night to-do list anxiety… you’re in the right place. You’re not the problem, friend. But your system? Yeah—it might need a serious upgrade.
I talk to so many brilliant coaches and entrepreneurs who are out here doing the work—but still feeling stuck. They start wondering, “Is it me? Am I not cut out for this?” And I want you to hear this loud and clear:
You’re not broken. You’re just overloaded.
If you’ve made it here—if you’re showing up, taking notes, listening in—that means you already have what it takes. But without a clear system, even the most driven people get caught in the swirl. Clarity gives you power. A good system tells you what to do and helps you actually do it.
Let’s talk about that mile-long list of ideas you’ve got swirling in your head. I call it the “mega list of maybe”—and it’s where your brain stores every single idea you think you might need to do someday.
The problem? That list becomes mental constipation (yep, I said it). You’ve got so many shoulds and coulds trying to come out all at once, your brain shuts down and says, “Nope, I’ll just watch Netflix instead.”
We’ve all been there.
Here’s your clarity shift: Pick one thing. Just one. The rest can live on that list for now. You can always come back to it later.
You don’t need to reinvent the wheel every day. You just need to get clear on your daily Big 3—those core habits that move your business forward no matter what.
Here’s what mine look like:
Post on social. Visibility is non-negotiable. If people can’t see you, they can’t work with you.
Work on my thought leadership. I’m always learning, writing, and building my voice as an expert.
Follow up. Relationships are everything, and that includes keeping promises to reconnect.
Your Big 3 might look a little different—but the key is that they’re consistent, sustainable, and actually doable.
Here’s one of my favorite analogies: Making pancakes? I’ve got that down. I’ve made them so many times I could do it in my sleep. But ask me to whip up a chocolate soufflé from memory? Hard pass.
It’s not that I can’t do it. I just haven’t practiced it. And that’s how most of us are approaching our businesses—we’re expecting soufflé results when we haven’t even figured out the pancake recipe.
You don’t need to beat yourself up. You just need the right ingredients, the right steps, and some time to practice. That’s how you build a business that feels doable—not draining.
Simplify Your Tech Stack, Save Your Sanity
Raise your hand if you’ve ever felt personally victimized by a million different platforms. 🙋♀️ I used to have a different system for everything. Leads over here. Clients over there. Tasks… somewhere?
So I moved everything into one hub: Plaza Plus. It’s our all-in-one system where I manage my clients, leads, collaborators—even my preferred suppliers. (Yes, even the people sliding into my DMs get their own organized place to go.)
One system = less chaos. More flow.
If your “follow-up system” is just hoping you remember to do it later… yeah, that’s a fast track to overwhelm.
Instead, every time I meet someone, I set a task in my system to follow up. Simple. It’s all about closing the loop and staying present—without letting anything slip through the cracks.
I learned this from my grandmother, by the way. She never missed a birthday. Not once. Know her secret? A calendar and a system. Consistency doesn’t require magic—it just takes a plan.
Visibility Is a Habit, Not a Vibe
Look, I get it—social media can feel like a grind. But I’m gonna be real with you: Visibility isn’t optional if you want people to find you. It’s not about going viral. It’s about showing up consistently so people can build trust with you over time.
If you make visibility one of your Big 3, you’ll start to see the difference. You won’t have to “launch” just to be seen. You’ll already be there.
This isn’t about building some perfect, shiny empire. It’s about building a business that actually works for you—your energy, your priorities, your goals.
Clarity doesn’t come from doing more. It comes from choosing better.
So if you’ve been stuck in the spin cycle of chaos, this is your sign. You don’t need to be more capable. You just need a system that supports the incredible coach and business owner you already are.

If your coaching business feels like it's just a tangled mess of sticky notes, late night emails, just bolting awake at night thinking, my gosh, and getting these ideas and writing it down in your notepad, again, digital or offline, if it feels kind of random, then let's fix that,

That's next number five clients.com to come and join us. And if you are here, Let me say good morning to you. I hope you're having a really good day and you're ready to talk about getting some of your time back.
some of your energy back. We got a lot to do today. So we're talking about moving from this feeling of chaos into clarity. So there's a reason I called my free group, Clients Over Chaos, right? So this one's all about simplicity. It's all about systems. It's all about sustainability because look, starting a business, I get it, it's very intimidating.
But you know what really trips people up? It's continuing the business, right? It's getting past those first few clients and building something that's really sustainable that month after month, you've got people coming in and saying, hey, tell me more about what you do, right? And month after month, you're having conversations with new people who might just want your program now or in the future.
And so, mean, who here is for a sustainable, awesome business? Just shout out why in the chat. If you are so excited, you made it to the Coach's Plaza live at 9 a.m. on a Monday morning. That's 9 a.m. Central. Hello. my gosh. We got Malay in the chat. We got Deborah here, too. Hello, Lynn. I'm glad you're here. And hello, Power Parents. I see you on the gram as well. So today we're going to be talking about how do we move past this overwhelm of all the moving parts?
So let me know, do you have a friend who is maybe feeling like they are working and working and working? They're spending, you know, five, 10, 15, 20, maybe even 40 hours a week on this business, but they don't feel like they're getting traction. You know, they don't feel like they're getting the outputs or the outcomes that they were looking for. And you know, this is really all about addressing that problem because boy, I talked to a lot of coaches.
who are actually doing the work, right? Shout out to I work, if you're somebody who's doing the work, you know, you're working at least five hours a week. And think about that, that's almost a full work day, even if you're just doing a couple hours here and there. And it can be really disheartening if you are doing that work and you're not getting the outcome, right? And I want you, if you're taking notes, make sure you take notes when you're on Lives With Me, the outcomes that matter to you.
Right? Because like, is it really an outcome you get excited about of like, I worked, you know, I watched X number of hours of training this week. Right. Or I, I made such and such number of social media posts. Right. Usually, usually when I'm talking to entrepreneurs, they're not holding themselves to that standard. They're not saying, and actually that can be part of what sets you free. But usually they're like, no, I want to make more money. You know, I want to get more clients.
I wanna have at least like more inquiries. want people to be knocking on my door, whether it's physical or digital. Like I want more people.
If your coaching business feels like it's just a tangled mess of sticky notes, late night emails, just bolting awake at night thinking, my gosh, and getting these ideas and writing it down in your notepad, again, digital or offline, if it feels kind of random, then let's fix that,
right?
So today we're gonna shift from this chaos to clarity so you can actually run your business without burning out, right? So important, shout out energy in the chat. If you understand that like, especially as a coach, as an expert,
you having good energy is literally part of the product. Like, you know, can you imagine if I came to these live streams, I was like, morning, I didn't sleep very good. I'm really stressed out.
Right, can you even imagine, right? Like that would be so terrible. So having a positive energy on time can be a really big challenge, but I'm here for like challenging the challenges, you know what I'm saying? If you just find yourself constantly saying like, I need to get organized, or you feel like you're using all the different tools, but you're still really behind.
Who gets a little tool overwhelms, right? Shout out AI in the chat if you're just like, dang, there's so many things I could be doing here. And just even thinking about it makes you want to close your laptop and go and cry, right? Or watch Netflix or eat pizza, like whatever your thing is. Sometimes that overwhelm can get very real. And, you know, more to the point, because we're after real results in your business, you realize that you've worked all week, but you forgot to reach out to somebody new.
You realize you worked all week, but you forgot to follow up on that lead that you had of a great next connection. You realize you worked all week, but you didn't really pour into your audience that you're building, that new, very special audience that you're building. You didn't pour into your email list. You didn't pour into your social media. And you're just scratching your head going like, what the heck? I just worked all week. How did this even happen? Right. If this is resonating, just shout a why. Because here's the thing.
Chaos is not necessarily because you are incapable. Okay, if you were capable of making it here on time, or you were capable of holding your attention to watch me go on and on describing the problem, then you have what it takes. You really do, because you were able to relegate or regulate your focus to be able to be here. It might mean, though,
that your system isn't set up for your success yet. Shout out system in the chat if you're like, aha, I am not necessarily the issue, the problem. I'm not even really necessarily the obstacle. It's my system that needs a little bit of work. So shout out system. Now here's why clarity is gonna just change everything for you. I'm gonna take you through in today's training at least three simple things that you can do to get more flow.
and less chaos as you build that system, okay? Because here's the thing about a good system. Here's how I know I've got a really, really good system. It's when you know what to do and you actually do it. Whoa, right? You know what to do and you actually do it. You have no idea how many people I meet that like, no kidding, they were top performers in corporate America or top performers in another business type or top performers in academia.
you know, top performer, just top performers. Like I work with a lot of really, really, really smart people. But the issue is, is that they know they're smart. And so they think that because they're already smart, they should just already know what to do. And that's a little like, you know, I don't know if anybody's a big cook here this morning. So it's my eight year old's birthday today. So just a little, happy birthday to Mr. B.
But I was cooking today and he, thank goodness, asked me for pancakes. And I've made pancakes, you know, got my recipe, you know, like I got that one down. But if he had said to me, mommy, the only thing I want for my birthday is a chocolate souffle, I can't make a chocolate souffle from memory. Would you like to know why? It's not because I'm dumb. It's not because I'm lazy. It's not because I can't.
It's because I haven't. That's it. That's it. I have the system for making pancakes like down, you know, like I know exactly what the ingredients are, the exact quantity, what order to put it in. I got the technique down, right? You know how a lot of people say there's a bad pancake? I don't do bad pancakes. Like all my pancakes are great. But that's because I have a lot of deliberate practice on pancakes. I got a whole pancake backstory. If you've been in one of my programs before, you've probably heard the pancake story, but
I've done like a lot with pancakes. So I have a lot of practice to back it up. I have a system. I know exactly what to do and I can actually do it. But if you ask me to do a chocolate souffle, I mean like I'm up to the challenge. I like being in the kitchen. I've seen what a good souffle looks like, but that's not the same thing as knowing exactly what to do and then following through on doing exactly that.
Shout out Yum in the chat if you're like, oh, I can be crazy smart. It's just I might be missing pieces of the recipe. I might be missing bits of the technique, you know, and that I can learn. So the second reason why systems and clarity really set you free is because you stop second guessing and you start really building momentum. You know, when I realized that I could be really successful with doing video, I was like, oh boy.
I'm gonna do more video and more video and more video and like I honestly I really should do at least an estimate count of how many videos and how many hours of video that I've done but that but that all started with like just really sitting down and thinking about it and going like I don't have to second-guess like all the best in the world do video right shout out a V in the chat if you're like, yep, they do video so if you just start even if it's just like little videos for yourself and you never show them to a soul you're getting
some traction and you can build momentum from there. Third big thing, you spend less time actually having to manage the business, right? So you're spending more time on the things that actually matter. So you remember when I said earlier, like what is success? Success is people saying yes, right? Saying yes to your coaching, saying yes to your programs, saying yes to your webinars, saying yes, I will send you referrals, right? Like your job is pretty much like...
Help people say yes, help people have the clarity to say yes from a totally ethical place. Y'all get that, right? It's not icky to to to let people know that you exist, right? It's not icky to let people know that you can help. It's not icky to demonstrate that you understand. Is that correct? Right. Yes. OK, good, good. So the reason you're feeling so overwhelmed and you're bolting up at night is because that anxiety of like this is this is like existential anxiety. You know, this is a special kind.
is the anxiety of like knowing that there's just so many things that you could do, but your brain is like frozen on the decision on what you will do. Who caught that, right? It's not that you don't know what to do most of the time. Most of the time, you actually know what to do. It's just that there's like so many options and your brain's having a hard time settling on which one you want to do, okay?
So dang, you know, like I'm bringing some fun. I had pancakes this morning. I'm feeling good. My boy just turned eight. I'm in a great mood today. I'm telling you, like you already know what to do. You know, the role that I play, by the way, just as a coach, you might be thinking like, if the client always knows what to do, then what's my job? Well, my job is to remind you. That's it. My job is to remind you. Hey, good morning. I know I should do so many things.
But like what would happen if you just decided to do one thing and you just decided to let everything else kind of live on the someday maybe list, right? And you can bring things off of that list any, like literally any time. But most people are in this like should do constipation in their brain. Not to be gross, but to be visceral. It's like you've got so many things that are trying to come out all at once.
And it's like your own mind is like, nope, short circuit, can't do it, right? It's going to stop you from doing anything because there's just so many things you really could do. And you know what's really beautiful about that is it means you have a lot of freedom. Aha, you have a lot of freedom. You know, you have the freedom to choose to do or not do anything on the mega list of maybe. Right.
Ooh, that's a good name for it, the mega list of maybe. You know, let's let's get some practice on getting out of this. I was promising you at least three clarity shifts today to really help you get out of that constipation, get out of the list of maybes and get into a level of commitment to your own objectives, which are again to win.
You want to help people. You want people to say, heck yes. You want people to be like, yeah, I love your program. my God, my program's awesome. You want people to talk about you in a really positive way because you do an actually good job. Yeah, right? So here's the first thing. And this was so hard for me because I'm a bit of a nerd, a little bit of a tech, kind of a wizard. Stop buying so many subscriptions, you know?
And I'm not saying you can't, you you have to build a business with your bare hands. That's not what I'm saying. I am saying though, if you could just get everything down into as few hubs, as few little points as possible, that would be super great. So for example, in my business, I took all my technology into one solution. It's called Plaza Plus. And yes, it is a white label of go high level. No gatekeeping here. I tell you exactly what things are.
But the reason Plaza Plus is so good is because we have a really outstanding technology team and I've given you a lot of the templates that I actually use in building a coaching business. Okay, end of plug. Also, wait, almost the end of the plug. I don't charge as much as the other guys. Okay, really the end of the plug. But the point is is that I moved like 100 % of my systems into, well, 99 % of my systems into Plaza Plus. And what was so super powerful about that, believe me when I tell you, are,
technology was so sprawling. We had like a different system for where we manage our podcast guests. We had a different system where we were managing our leads. We had leads from all these different like places, but they, you know, I literally at one time in my business, no joke, you guys, what I had, I had a sales CRM, I had a marketing CRM, and then I had an outside to-do list. And all, yeah, it's called Plaza Plus. So,
If you are interested, just shout out plus in the chat and I'll make sure that I send you a message after our live so you can have my one sheet and give it a crack, give it a try. So what I was saying is like the problem with having your data in like lots and lots of different places, know, spreadsheet over here, click up over there, notion over here, know, MailChimp over there, ConvertKit over here, know, Kajabi over there.
is that you're gonna end up with a lot of outdated data, right? So what you want though is you want one single system of record for every relationship that you have in your business. So when I made this decision, I was like, the clouds parted and the choir sang. Literally like in my same system, and I use something called tagging to segment people. So I'm not like,
marketing to people who shouldn't be marketed to. I'm only marketing to people who have opted into a lead magnet and we've got a whole system that we set up with that. But literally my same exact system has all of my collaborative partners in it. So those are people that I would like do a podcast with or I would do like a joint webinar or something like that. Like we're building together, right? out a big C for collaborators. Like you can build a lot in your business.
if you had a list of collaborators and you were just really intentional about building relationships with those collaborators that they think of you first when they wanna do another project and they're looking for some partners, right? So yay, I've got my collaborators in there. I also have, in the same exact system, all of my referral partners. Now here's where your brain gets to bend a little bit. What if you have a collaborative partner who's also gonna send you referrals?
you want to make sure that they're getting all the information about your referral program. And you want to make sure that if they haven't said, like, I want to partner with you, they're just getting the information about the referral program. Right? Shout out R in the chat if you're like, yeah, I probably need a system for that. And then another type of person that might be in my system is a potential supplier. So one of the things that freaked me out, and I'm like, not even kidding.
this was major chaos activation total overdrive problem for me. Like to the point you guys where I almost shut down when it came to promoting my business, having conversations and all of that because the number of people who came out of the woodwork as soon as I said I wanted to, like as soon as I said I was open for business, all of a sudden I'm like on all these marketing lists, I'm getting targeted in the DMs, I'm getting like.
unsolicited mailman like, holy. So if you've had that problem, let me know. But what I decided is I was like, no, you know, there might be some really good suppliers in here, maybe. But here's one thing that I know for sure. I'm not going to drop everything to buy something from somebody who just sent me a DM. Right. Like I do it based on a relationship. Right. And and, know, a relationship could start because somebody sent me a message, but it's not going to start because they pitch slapped me.
You know what I mean? Like they just like lobbed a pitch at me and just like hoped for the best. I'm like, okay. So what I did is I set up a script and it's, so I found out that like Seth Godin calls these a boundary script. And I realized that what was freaking me out is I had no boundaries. And actually I had a boundary. It's just that everybody kept stepping over the boundary because I wasn't doing anything to defend my boundary. Okay.
So the Boundary Script is basically this. If somebody sends me like a pitch, I say, hey, thanks for the offer. If you would like to be considered when we are looking for this, here's the link to join my preferred supplier list. And I have a special link on my website that's just for anybody who wants to sell to me. And they could be selling products, they could be selling services, they could be selling advice, they could be selling literally anything.
I just send them to that page and then they fill out a form that tells me about their business and what it is they sell. So now it's going into the same exact system. I'm using the same exact technology. I'm not creating a different technology, a whole nother process, same technology. And I have automation that's like, hey, thanks, I got your application, here's what you said. The next time we have a need, I'm gonna be sending an email to people on the list who answered like,
Like you did and I hope you really have a really great day So it allows me to like close the loop with a serious business owner who's maybe just trying their best and The next time I actually have a need I can send an email to that To that list to tell them about the need that I have right Who would love to have like options and to be able to pick from the best instead of feeling like you're always in a panic when you're buying something
Right? I hope that that was just like super, super cool. So obviously I have my clients all in the same system. Maybe not obviously, I have my clients all in the same system. And the thing is, is that sometimes clients become referral partners, sometimes clients become collaborators. And because I just had it all in one system, I could handle it all in one place. Okay, so that was the first thing. One hub, one place, okay? Second big idea, you have to know...
what your big three are every day. Your big three every day. So these are the core actions that you take every single day that are gonna move your business forward and you can decide those things in advance. Shout a three in the chat if you hear me loud and clear. So this is different than like three projects you're gonna complete today or three homework assignments you're gonna do today or three things you're gonna build today. No, no, no, no.
three habits that you are going to do, rain or shine, right? Happy or grumpy, doesn't matter, you're gonna do it. So, you know, one of those things is posting. For me, it's like, I will post to social media. There will be something posted on social media, not negotiable, and like, I'm creating a new post every day. And the reason why is because social media remains like the free channel that is accessible all the time.
and is it harder than it used to be? You betcha. But you know what makes it the hardest? When you're not there. Right? So stop being invisible. like for me, visibility was probably the biggest, and probably remains actually, the biggest challenge that I have to the coaching business model is because I have to be seen and seen and seen. And I've seen so many people burn out over the years. You know, I've been doing this for eight years, y'all.
eight years and it's just because I just built like these practices into my day and one of those practices is posting to social media. Second practice that I have is I'm always working on my thought leadership every day, every day, every day. I am writing, I am researching, I am learning every day, non-negotiable. That's just what I do, right? And so like one of my biggest insecurities when I started my coaching business was what if I'm not good enough?
I don't know if that hits for anybody, but I was just like, what if I'm not good enough? What if I don't know enough? What if I'm not smart enough? What if I, what? And I realized I was like, okay, there's an infinite amount of knowledge. Like you're never going to get all of the knowledge, right? Shout out for matrix, if you hear me, like boy, boy, there's just too much data. There's no way. And even when you learn the thing, another study comes out that disproves the thing you thought you knew.
So like there is no perfect moment when you finally know enough but what I did is is I made one of my my Core habits is developing my thought leadership. So I'm always questioning what I knew I'm always questioning what what I I had before and I realized that my value isn't because of
the just the sum of all my knowledge, the value is because I am that nut job that has been doing this every day for eight years, right? So shout out big eight in the chat. Like eight years from now, you're gonna be in the position where you could have been studying every single day. You could have been reading books, you could have been watching the YouTubes, you could have been doing your own thought experiments, you could have been running the numbers, you could have been doing that every single day. And that's what makes you a weapon.
That's what makes you so dang good. And I'm gonna teach you something really quick here, because I know this is not everybody's habit. When you read something, play yes and and yes but. So I learned this big shout out to Mel Abraham. He taught me this with his thought leadership roadmap, and I just thought it was a great frame. Whenever you read something, just like, it's always an incomplete, it's always an incomplete sentence.
Not because it's grammatically incomplete, but because there's always more to the story. So if you ever heard somebody say something and you're like, yes, and, and you could provide more detail or you heard somebody say something and you're like, yes, but, and you would, you would add something that is not necessarily, disagreeing with what they're saying, but you would, you would say, Hey, remember, be mindful. Don't forget. Right. If you've ever had that thought, that means that you can develop thought leadership. And that's really what it's all about.
There you go.
OK, third big clarity shift, why you're in chaos. You're trying to remember to do too much. You're trying to remember to do too much.
Automating the follow-up. You don't have to remember everything. So, one of the habits that I developed that helped me get way out of chaos is every time I meet with someone, I set a task in the future in my calendar to follow back up with them.
So it's like you sit down with them and you're having a conversation. It's great. You hit it off. It's awesome. And if it's appropriate, you can say like, hey, I'd love to do a free session with you. But if it's not appropriate, right? If it's just like the timing's not good or they're not quite qualified to do it or you just need more time together before you're gonna feel very confident inviting them to that next step, no worries.
invite them to a next step, but make the next step something like, let's reconnect in six weeks. Let's reconnect in a couple of months. And just put in your calendar that you're going to. And when you write it down, one of my mentors said, always package the details. So packaging the details means that in that calendar reminder for yourself or in that task reminder for yourself, you
put any notes that you need to that if you were just struck in the head and you completely forgot everything and you have amnesia, you would know exactly how to pick up that call. This is what the world's best do. They keep records, you know? And I was really reminded of this with my grandmother, actually. So sadly, my grandmother passed away a couple of years ago and I was really reflecting on
her life and what she was like. And one of the things about my grandmother is she would remember to send cards in advance on time like clockwork. Like she was like the utility bill man. Like she just came right on time. And you know, it was always a handwritten card. Never missed a birthday, never missed an anniversary. And here's the really remarkable thing. She had like 58 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
You know, so and she would send it not just to the children and the grandchildren and the great grandchildren. She sent it to the cousins. She sent it like to everybody. If you were in her family network, you probably got a birthday card wishing you well handwritten, you know, right up until she passed. She was like 90, 92 years old. And we were in her apartment and we saw the calendar. You know, she had this handwritten calendar.
and she had her box of cards that she had in advance. And you just knew that part of her routine was to look at the calendar and write the cards. It was just part of her routine. And I loved that, and I'm never gonna forget that, you know, because I'll never forget how it made me feel to always get that card. And like my kids always got the card, and it was just like, it was such a magical and beautiful thing that she did.
but she definitely had a system to help her keep up with it. It wasn't just because of her virtue of being an awesome granny. It was because she had the systems to support her. Now, I think one of the biggest things when it comes to clarity and choosing clarity over chaos is clarity doesn't really require perfection. It doesn't. It just requires prioritization. So if it's really important to you to build a business that's sustainable,
then we just pick one system at a time, we put that into play, and then we stack, and we stack, and we stack, and we stack, and that's how we build our progress. Your clients don't really care how fancy your funnel is, and especially if you're a beginner. They really care that you are present and you are prepared. Because the thing is, when you get, let's just fast forward a little bit here.
I don't know if you're building a six figure business or a seven figure business, but for sure, when you get to being a seven figure business or even halfway there, it is really hard to have the personal touch, right? You have to train team members to have that personal touch on your behalf. And so there's this distance that can start to be created because the people that you're hiring, you know, they're they're working for a wage, they
could change jobs, right? Like they're just a little, like even if you do a great job of hiring, they're just a little bit removed from the founder. And the people who hire you in the beginning, they want that founder energy. They want that boots on the ground person. They want that person who personally cares. And that's okay. Your customer is probably a little different than the customer of a big guru.
who is working completely through systems, completely through social media messaging, completely through a big distance. And they do that because you have to have a separate distance. Like you have to. Because it's just not possible when the audience gets large enough for you to sit down one on one. And that's like the biggest advantage that you actually have. You can build a beautifully simple business that makes really good money and has
really good impact when you choose your clients over this chaos that we find ourselves in, okay? So I am really, really excited to have you here and we're gonna have this replay. If you had any sound issues, audio issues, this replay will be up within the next 48 hours inside of Clients Over Chaos, which you can join us at next5clients.com. That's next number five, clients.com.
and we'll be back next week. Now, we're starting a brand new month, so I would love to know what is a topic that you would love to see us cover in these live streams? What would you love to know how to do? What would you love to know what we figured out? We would love to create in the direction that you would find the most useful. So you can just let me know in the chat right now as we're wrapping up what your favorite thing to talk about would be.
Or you can always send us a note at support at the coaches plaza com with your suggestions We always love hearing from you and we want to build for what you want to hear about Okay, you deserve by the way a business that's actually really supportive because it's especially like in my case I left corporate America with a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth not gonna lie about that. It wasn't great but but I made a promise
to myself at that time that I really want to encourage you if you're starting a business is I'm like, I'm not going to trade a poor situation for a worse situation. I just won't do it. It was a standard that I was holding myself to is like, I'm not gonna trade a terrible situation for a worse one. I'm only gonna hold myself available for a better situation. So that could be that you're paid better, that could be that you have better time.
flexibility, better alignment and congruence and what you do for people. But it has to be better, right? And maybe it's not all better in all fronts, right? There's times in your business where you're going to make less than maybe you made in the job. There's going to be stressors that you wouldn't even imagine having to deal with as an employee that you're going to have to deal with as an entrepreneur. But if overall, across all the measures of the things that actually matter to you, you are building something that is better.
You gotta do what matters and you gotta show up for it, right? Clarity's not really all that far away. It's really about being a decision away. And next week, I'm gonna be back with another fabulous training to help you with your coaching business and growing it. And in the meantime, make sure you join us in the group at nextfiveclients.com. Now, if what I've been talking about, you're going like, I need more. I need more than your free stuff. Cool.
Send me the message, send me the word coffee at any time and you can buy me a coffee and we'll sit down and we'll talk about what it is that you are working on. I have several programs ranging from free to less than 60 bucks a month to one time investments to full blown coaching programs. But everyone can buy me a coffee once to just have that conversation and see if we can help you in a deeper way. All right. Thank you so much everybody for joining me this week.
Don't forget to tell your friends about the show and we will see you very soon.
